The Hunter's most comprehensive Open Water Program

That's right Dive, Skate and Ski is proud to be the Hunter Valley's only S.S.I. (Scuba Schools International) dive store. Our S.S.I. Advanced Adventurer Schools program is unique in that it certifies divers to 30 metres in the one program. Combine this with the Valley's only 10 dive program and you are guaranteed First Class dive instruction. Because we believe that the best place to learn to dive is in the water, and the best time to get experience is when there is an instructor at your side.

There's more to diving that just passing a test!!!!

To ensure that we produce the safest divers possible your comprehensive Advanced Adventurer Open Water program includes 10 dives:- a boat dive, rescue training dive, a deep dive, navigation dive and either a wreck or marine life dive on top of the basic Open Water dives. This program by far surpasses the regular 5 Open Water dives required for certification.

But, what is it going to cost? Just $649

As with anything in life, you get what you pay for, and yes you may see courses starting from $400 or lower. This is where you must play detective and find out how much you really will be paying. Your dive program includes the use of all SCUBA equipmnet. Because so much of the snorkeling pack is very personal, we recommend you purchase your own mask, snorkel, fins, booties and gloves and we do offer our students some incredibly well priced packages.

We also offer a range of rental snorkeling equipment that can be rented for $50 per course, and this $50 can be later used as a deposit on your personal snorkeling equipment.
